Information for speakers of the Second International Symposium on Multilingual Information Processing


===written proceedings============================

We plan to publish written proceedings afterward and thus you are
required to give us a camera-ready (the length should be between 2 and
20 pages) before the end of April. (Of course you can bring it when
you come to Tsukuba.)

It must be in the form of 
 size: A4 or US letter, portrait
 margin: 25.4mm (1-inch) or more on top/bottom/left/right
 text point: main text at 10 pt or more
 text format:
	o one column or double columns
        o page number at bottom by centering outside the margin
	o main text in English
	o the first page should include:
	   title/your\_name/your\_orgranization[/your\_email\_address]
 All other things are up to writers.

===presentation============================

Language: English
Duration: 30 to 60 minutes for presentation and discussion. 
	(Tell us hou long you wolud like.)

We expect to have 50 participants.  You can use video projectors to
display Windows, Macintosh or Solaris output, internet access through
delegate, overhead projectors (OHPs) and VCRs. If you need something
else, contact m17n-sec@etl.go.jp beforehand.

===travel arrangement============================

Mr. Fukawa (fukawa@ics-inc.co.jp) or Mr. Goto(goto@ics-inc.co.jp) from
a conference service company  ICS are in charge of arrranging your travel.  
ICS is a JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) group company and people at a JTB
branch near you may contact you.

If you have any question about your or your companion's travel and
stay, or if you plan a tour in Japan after/before the symposium,
contact ICS. (not us, we will be little help in this regard.)
